- Supporting our team in the development of a digital twin for energy systems (approx. 70% backend / 30% frontend)
- Implementation of modern frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, with a future focus on React
- Development and maintenance of backend components using Python
- Integration and use of backend APIs (REST, optionally GraphQL)
- Implementation of UI/UX concepts in close collaboration with design and domain experts
- Ensuring performance, maintainability, and code quality
- Participation in an agile development environment (Scrum)

Your profile
- Relevant frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Ideally experience with React, alternatively Vue or Angular
- Relevant backend experience in Python, particularly with common OOP methods and time-series data processing
- Ideally experience with MySQL and InfluxDB databases
- Experience in API integration and working with modern web architectures
- Basic understanding of UI/UX, performance optimization, and accessibility
- Knowledge of security best practices (e.g. OWASP) and data protection is an advantage
- Independent, structured way of working and strong team skills
- Experience with agile methods and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
- Residence in the Leipzig area or willingness to attend regular on-site meetings when working remotely
